Matakana Gin – "Label the Land" Competition

On Wednesday, 29 October, The Vintry in Matakana Village came alive with creativity and community spirit as we unveiled the new look for Matakana Gin.

Friends, locals, and gin lovers gathered to raise a glass to our next chapter — one that continues to celebrate the artistry, craftsmanship, and natural beauty that inspire every bottle we create.
 

The highlight of the evening was a silent auction featuring the original artwork by Tom Leuschke, the stunning painting that inspired our new label.

The piece captured the texture, colour, and coastal energy of Matakana — and now has a new home with Graham, whose generous winning bid helped raise funds for Matakana School.
 

Guests enjoyed bespoke Matakana Gin cocktails & local produce as we toasted to the people and place that make our region so special.
